Rely Precision Castings, South Africa’s leading manufacturer of high-integrity investment castings, is proud to announce its participation in Manufacturing Indaba 2025, taking place from July 15 and 16 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg.

With over 70 years of manufacturing expertise, Rely Precision Castings is the largest investment casting facility in the Southern Hemisphere and Africa, supplying world-class solutions to industries including mining, rail, pumps and valves, power generation, defence, and general engineering. All castings made at Rely are designed, manufactured, and finished at its Boksburg facility, reinforcing the company’s commitment to local production, skills development, and industrial excellence.

At this year’s event, Rely will showcase its extensive range of precision cast components, manufactured in a wide variety of stainless steels, nickel-based and cobalt-based alloys, and non-ferrous metals. These products reflect the company’s deep technical expertise, quality-driven manufacturing processes, and ability to meet stringent industry requirements.

In addition to its traditional casting expertise, Rely Precision Castings has invested in additive manufacturing (rapid prototyping) technology and high-precision laser scanning capabilities, enabling faster product development, greater design flexibility, and enhanced quality control. These technologies allow Rely to support clients with prototyping, reverse engineering, and design optimisation—shortening lead times and accelerating innovation in complex engineering applications.

“We are excited to be part of Manufacturing Indaba 2025, where we will highlight our role in driving South African manufacturing growth through innovative casting solutions and advanced manufacturing technologies,” said Giancarlo Carrozzo, Managing Director of Rely Precision Castings. “Our focus remains on delivering high-quality, locally made components that support critical industries and empower local supply chains.”

As a proud ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer, Rely Precision Castings continues to play a key role in strengthening African industrial capability, with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration, design excellence, and the adoption of modern manufacturing tools to meet evolving industry needs.
